Quilling

Quilling or Paper filigree is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. It is very time consuming but the end product is always worth it.

Dot Art

The defining criterion for a dot painting is the technique used – that it is produced by repeated imprints of a paint covered brush, dotting stick or other implement onto the surface of the painting and that in doing so, there are recognisable ‘dot’ marks on the canvas.

Further Information

After being medically retired I started a card making hobby and started off with some basic cards. As I grew more confident I started exploring new techniques using different materials. I have made a whole host of cards of many designs and some personalised.

Each item is handmade despite my muscle wasting condition and the increased rate of not being able to use my hands and fingers.

I have made many personalised gifts which I have showcased on this site and still make these to order.

However over the last few months I have concentrated on Paper Quilling. This a form of art that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped and glued together to create decorative images.
